Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use Cotup. By signing up you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Cotup validates age at signup and does not retain your date of birth.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You may request account deletion from Account Settings; a grace period applies before permanent erasure.

You agree not to misuse Cotup, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, harassing others, posting unlawful content, or circumventing verification or credential controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Cotup may offer verification and credential features. Verification decisions and issued credentials are subject to Cotup's review processes. Misrepresentation of identity or credentials is prohibited.

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting, you grant Cotup a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service. You may delete your messages and other authored content where the product provides that control.

Program name: Cotup Account Notifications. Cotup is a credential-verified professional network. If you opt in, we send informational text messages: phone verification codes and high-signal account notifications such as direct messages, connection requests, mentions, and verification status updates. We do not send advertising or promotional marketing by SMS.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or START to re-subscribe. Opt-out requests are processed promptly; after STOP we will stop SMS to that number, except a single confirmation if required by the carrier. Supported on major U.S. and Canadian wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. When we update legal documents, you may be asked to re-accept the current versions before continuing authenticated use.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the version identifier and effective date on this page. Continued use after acceptance of an updated version constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.
